A.C. Hotel San Jose
TPG DevCon developed and constructed the A.C. Hotel in San Jose, California, a Marriott lifestyle boutique hotel and the first A.C. Hotel built in the state. This LEED Certified, 210-room, seven story hotel is located in the San Jose Convention and Business District near Highway 87 and Adobe’s world headquarters. TPG DevCon acquired the urban site and delivered a product that fits the needs of technology travelers and guests in the Silicon Valley market.
Urban Mixed-Use High-Rise
Downtown Providence, RI
In downtown Providence, Rhode Island, Procaccianti Companies acquired the 364-room Westin Providence Hotel previously owned by the State of Rhode Island. TPG DevCon led an expansion program adding 200 hotel rooms, five levels of structured parking, a pedestrian level restaurant, retail space, and residential units. At 32 stories, the new tower is the tallest building developed in Rhode Island in the last 40 years. TPG DevCon provided turnkey pre-development, permitting, development, construction management, and project management services and completed the project in approximately 18 months.
Moxy D.C. Hotel
TPG DevCon provided project management and development services for the Moxy D.C. Hotel in Washington, D.C., a 200-room, 14 story hotel at 1011 K Street NW. The hotel is partially built within a historic structure dating to 1870, the former home of a Civil War Union general, and required careful coordination of modern construction within a historic context.
Hyatt House Downtown
In downtown Atlanta, Georgia, TPG DevCon developed and constructed one of Hyatt’s newest focused service extended stay brands. The 150-room, seven story Hyatt House hotel sits in the emerging downtown district directly across from the Georgia Aquarium and serves as an anchor for the central business district.
Residence Inn Hotel
In Providence’s Convention Center District, TPG DevCon delivered a nine story, 176 suite Residence Inn hotel. Our services included design and architecture oversight, site work and permitting, demolition of the existing structure, construction management, and procurement and installation of FF&E. The hotel opened in October 2019 after an approximately 18 month development and construction schedule.
A.C. Hotel Development
At 6th and K Streets in Washington, D.C., TPG DevCon provided program management services for a 14 story, 234-room select service A.C. Hotel. The project was delivered in partnership with a local real estate developer, and the completed property is now managed by our affiliate, TPG Hotels, Resorts & Marinas.
