With six decades of real estate and construction experience as our foundation, TPG DevCon helps owners unlock value in underperforming or obsolete hotel assets. Our team manages hotel adaptive reuse and conversion projects, including hotel to apartment and condominium conversions, mixed use redevelopment and transformation of non hotel properties into hospitality assets.
Whether the goal is converting an existing hotel to residential apartments, repositioning a property as a mixed use tower in New York City, or repurposing a former industrial building as a boutique hotel, TPG DevCon provides the planning, development and construction management needed to reach the asset’s highest and best use.
EastGate Hotel Residential Conversion
Located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the underperforming EastGate Hotel was converted to The Nash NYC, a residential apartment building. Procaccianti Companies served as co general partner and TPG DevCon served as joint developer during the initial phases of pre planning for repositioning and disposition.
FLATOTEL NYC
In midtown Manhattan, ownership of FLATOTEL NYC pursued an adaptive reuse strategy to convert an underperforming hotel into a residential tower that could serve strong demand for downtown housing. Procaccianti Companies acted as co general partner and TPG DevCon served as joint developer during the early phases of pre planning for repositioning and disposition.
Empire@Broadway
Empire@Broadway is located on one of New England’s most visible highway adjacent sites and serves as a true gateway to downtown Providence. TPG DevCon is working with potential tenants on a conceptual mixed use redevelopment plan that could include a world class corporate headquarters within a 22 to 36 story facility.
The ALEX Hotel New York
Near Times Square in Manhattan, The ALEX Hotel was the subject of an adaptive reuse strategy that transformed an underperforming hotel into a residential tower to meet demand for urban housing. Prior to its conversion, Procaccianti Companies served as co general partner and TPG DevCon served as joint developer during initial pre planning for repositioning and disposition.
Sixty-Sixty Miami
On the Intracoastal Waterway in Miami Beach, the former 86 room Holiday Inn required a comprehensive repositioning to reach its full potential. The property was converted to condominiums, and TPG DevCon was engaged to oversee turnkey pre development, permitting, development, construction and project management services.
